Refund Policy for CodGarden

Due to the nature of digital goods (WordPress themes, web scripts, plugins, mobile app source codes, and graphic assets), all premium purchases made on CodGarden (https://codgarden.com) are non-refundable once the product files have been downloaded or accessed. Unlike physical goods, digital items cannot be physically "returned" or "restored," meaning that every download constitutes a consumption of the asset.

However, we value customer satisfaction and offer a fair refund evaluation under specific, justifiable circumstances. By making a purchase on our platform, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. Valid Grounds for a Refund Request

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund within **14 days of your purchase** if your request meets one of the following strict criteria:

*   **The Item is Broken or Non-Functional:** The asset contains critical code errors, bugs, or defects that prevent it from functioning as advertised, and the author is unable to provide a fix within seven (7) business days of being notified via our support system.
*   **Misrepresentation:** The product delivered is completely different from its live preview, description, or official feature list provided on the CodGarden product page.
*   **Unresolved Support Issues:** You have opened a technical support ticket with the item's author regarding a core functionality defect, and the author has failed to respond or assist within a reasonable timeframe (7 business days).
*   **Accidental Multiple Purchases:** You accidentally purchased the exact same digital asset multiple times under the same user account. In this case, we will gladly refund the duplicate transactions.

2. Invalid Grounds for a Refund (Non-Refundable Cases)

We will **NOT** honor refund requests based on the following reasons:
*   **Change of Mind:** You no longer want or need the item after downloading it.
*   **Lack of Technical Skills:** You do not possess the required technical knowledge, hosting environment, or software skills to install, configure, or use the script, theme, or plugin.
*   **Third-Party Incompatibility:** The item does not work with a specific, third-party plugin, extension, or custom server configuration that was not explicitly listed as compatible on the product page.
*   **No Longer Available:** The item has been removed from CodGarden by the author or due to licensing updates (it is your responsibility to download your purchases immediately and keep a backup).
*   **Exclusive/Bonus Content:** You are requesting a refund for a bundled package where you have already actively used or deployed parts of the bundle.

3. Refund Evaluation Process

Submission:** To request a refund, you must open a formal dispute through your **CodGarden Billing Dashboard** or email `billing@codgarden.com`. You must include your unique Purchase Code and detailed technical proof (such as screenshots or error logs) showing that the item is defective.
Author Intervention:** Before granting a refund, we will notify the original author of the item and allow them up to 48-72 hours to troubleshoot your technical issue or patch the bug.
Decision:** Once an internal investigation is complete, CodGarden administrators hold the final decision-making power. If approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) within 5-10 business days.

4. Anti-Fraud and Chargeback Policy

Revocation of Licenses:** Upon the approval and processing of a refund, your legal license to use the digital asset is immediately **revoked**. You must permanently delete all copies of the downloaded source files from your local drives, servers, and client websites.
Dispute Abuse:** If you initiate an unauthorized credit card chargeback or PayPal dispute without contacting our billing support team first, your CodGarden account will be **permanently banned**, and all active product licenses across your profile will be invalidated.
